We had an absolutely lovely week at Brian and Sandra's gite - thank you both! The location is very quiet and private - a perfect place to relax, yet it's very close to Sarlat-la-Canéda and some of the most beautiful castles and villages of the region. Brian and Sandra are very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive hosts. The garden is beautiful with many different tables and chairs to choose from. The house is clean and uncluttered with a modern kitchen and comfortable beds and sitting areas. We loved our slow dinners outside, especially the BBQs, whilst kids had lots of fun in the games room - what a fantastic bonus! We'll be happy to come back!

Thank you Brian and Sandra for a wonderful stay in your gîte in your beautiful region. The house was perfect for our family and the children particularly enjoyed the games room. The region has plenty to offer in terms of activities (canoeing, cycling, etc.) and places to visit. We can’t wait to come back.

Brian et Sandra nous ont très bien accueilli, la maison est magnifique et très spacieuse. On voit que chaque petit détail a été pensé, les instructions sont très détaillés, tout est fait pour nous faciliter le séjour. Magnifique endroit tout confort, literie et équipement au top. la salle de jeu est un vrai plus, le gîte est très bien aménagée et sublime au calme dans la campagne perigourdine, très bien situé à proximité des principaux sites et monuments à visiter. Brian et sandra sont aux petits soins, nous gardons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour au bois tranquilles. nous y retournerons certainement dans ce petit coin de pardis. n'hésitez pas à y séjourner vous ne serez pas déçu. à bientôt. Our stay at Brian and Sandra's Gite was beyond fantastic! The silence and tranquility that you experience at the Gite is wonderful. There you really hear the sound of silence. The nature around the Gite is also beautiful. We even saw a deer and squirrel from our terrace. In addition,the house is fully equipped, very clean, comfortable and cozy. In the Gite you can stay with your family, 2 couples or just the two of you. The different terraces where you can sit give you a different feeling and view every time. It is only a 4 minute drive to Cénac, supermarket, wonderful bakery and the Dordogne. The small river Le Ceou is also close by. As well as forest to walk in . And Sarlat is close by too. In short, we had a wonderful time! If you are stressed you will certainly come away relaxed. Thank you Brian and Sandra. We will come back for sure:)

The Gite is beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. There are all the kitchen and laundry facilities you could want. Upstairs there is also a cosy sitting room. There are two terraces that you can sit out on and enjoy the lovely views, and at night you enjoy the bright stars in the dark skies. There is a barbecue area and a covered outside eating area within easy reach of the kitchen. There is an excellent games room underneath the Gite with a pool table, table tennis, table football and air hockey and a store of jigsaws for a quiet few hours. The setting is lovely, and you can position sun loungers beneath trees for shade, or out in peaceful garden areas for sun bathing. The local area is also beautiful, and there lots of castles and medieval towns to explore, and river activities including canoeing all within a few minutes drive of the property. We had a fabulous two weeks there. The hosts have taken great care and effort and made this an absolutely wonderful place to stay for a holiday, and we could happily have stayed another week with plenty of things to enjoy.
We thoroughly recommend this property for a truly relaxing holiday.
